Teenagers face a huge problem in today's world with social networks. Teenagers now a days feel like they have to be on facebook, texting, or instant messaging their friends. The problem with this is it takes tons of time away from doing thing they must do on a day to day basis like: homework, work, and communicating. Eventually to much communicating on social networks makes people dependent on knowing whats going on, and even one day without being able to get on it'll have them be freaking out.
I feel like having all these ways of communicating with you're friends can be distracting to your homework. I feel that homework can get tiring after a while knowing that people that you know are a click away from talking to them.
I believe that the author to the article "A short guide to social networking" has a good point but i believe that most teenagers have the ability to control themselves to a certain point. A teenager should know when to use appropriate language and when not to. I think that teenagers should always be reminded that they must use proper language for proper essays or documents. Even though that go without saying. So I do disagree with the author of the article because teenagers now a days are also very smart because of the internet. So I believe someone or something should always remind teenagers when to use proper language
