Final Post

Several recent Times articles have looked at different effects of heavy use of technology: making social media users feel like they are missing out on something, affecting multitaskers’ memory and fostering the appearance or reality of technology addiction.

I feel that this is overstated because, I dont let cyberlife interfere with my real life. If people are doing hings on facebook, as long as what they are doing does not involve me i couldnt care less what their doing. I feel like when I'm studying I remember everything I need to remember.

In conclusion, I feel like my cyberlfe has nothing to do with the way i remember stuff or the way I live my life. I would also like to say that i am annoyed every time i see an article like this because i feel it is a waist of time.

Responsibility

Parents should not be punished because of their children failing in school. I say this because their may never be an accurate and fair system to penalize adults for their childrens failure. Their are many different situations in American households. Their may be may be children that don't even see their parents because of their need to have so many jobs.

I believe you can never force somebody to be a good parent. Good parenting is something that comes from good will and willingness to dedicate time to your children. I believe that California's laws are harsh. I believe that they should just constantly announce in commercials the neccesity to be a good parent and results will follow.

When I access the internet i like to use my computer, phone and ipod because they are fast and easy to use.

I do play video games once in a while. When i do i like to play war games such as call of duty and sports games like madden, nba, mlb the show, and even soccer games.

New technolgy has reconstructed the way someone would listen to music. Live performances are no longer needed to enjoy music. I'm not even sure if their are any cons to this cuz now one can just simply put some headphones on and enjoy music.

Im not to sure what happens after longterm earbud use but it cant be good.

What would I do

The way those girls were acting the situation out, i believe that that could be a very dangerous situation because it could be very harmful to the persons confidence and personality. If I saw something like this online i would try to convince whoever is doing it to stop because you never know the situation the other person is in. If the person were to ask me to help I would go with them to someone of authority.

I believe that if you are not a public figure people should ask before using picures of you but on the other hand if you are i believe its okay.

People constantly check their facebook and twitter constantly to always be informed on whats happening with their friends and favorite artists.

Social Networks

Teenagers face a huge problem in today's world with social networks. Teenagers now a days feel like they have to be on facebook, texting, or instant messaging their friends. The problem with this is it takes tons of time away from doing thing they must do on a day to day basis like: homework, work, and communicating. Eventually to much communicating on social networks makes people dependent on knowing whats going on, and even one day without being able to get on it'll have them be freaking out.

I feel like having all these ways of communicating with you're friends can be distracting to your homework. I feel that homework can get tiring after a while knowing that people that you know are a click away from talking to them.

I believe that the author to the article "A short guide to social networking" has a good point but i believe that most teenagers have the ability to control themselves to a certain point. A teenager should know when to use appropriate language and when not to. I think that teenagers should always be reminded that they must use proper language for proper essays or documents. Even though that go without saying. So I do disagree with the author of the article because teenagers now a days are also very smart because of the internet. So I believe someone or something should always remind teenagers when to use proper language

I believe this skill is very important to a person these days because one way or another your going to have a job that requires you to use some kind of technology.

Rights

I think that if you are native to this country you should always stand for the pledge of the flag, because you should be grateful for the great protection this country has provided to you and your ancestors. As a matter of fact everybody who live in America should stand for the pledges as a matter of respect.

I think i should include information in my profile like my name and interest. Yet I should never put personal information on my profile like my address social security and information like that.

Eating and drinking does not go with working in a classroom because, eating and drinking distracts you from doing the work that actually is suppose to be done. I don't believe parents should invade in their children's internet life because i believe that, that is an invasion of their children's privacy. I believe that parents should teach children the right way to do things since they are little so when grown hey make the correct decisions.

I don't believe you should spy on your girlfriend, unless your almost sure that they are cheating on you. If I was getting spied on by my girlfriend, I would dump her because if she can't trust me that tells me I can't trust her.

If my parents were sending messages in all capital letters. I would advise them that people may take that as an offense. This is due to the fact that you are making the statement into a bold statement hat appears to be meant to say with authority.

Flaming shows a lack of respect to the person your talking to because, you are insulting the person and distracting the person from doing what he or she wants to do. I wouldn't respect anybody that flames others because I wouldn't like anybody to do it to me.

Netiquette

Netiquette is the correct way to act on the internet. Netiquette has to deal with the way you interact with other people through cyber space. The proper way to act is to be respectful, polite, and never insult or threaten anybody.

Internet Safety

Classmates everywhere the internet is a blessing. But if you go around giving your personal information it can become a living hell before your eyes. Next thing you know you have people using our personal information all over the internet. You can have people impersonating you on social websites, stalk you around and came become pretty dangerous for you. So my suggestion to everybody to be safe and smart on the internet.

Technology, Woven In Me

Technology is woven in me in many different ways. Technology, such as my ipod, phone, computer and many other things, are a major part of my life. I use my ipod to listen to music for most of the day either in school or at work I'm usually listening to music. My phone is my major source of communication, without my phone I probably couldn't inform people about me. Finally my computer is like my salvation during my free time.

Cyber Safety

If someone were to impersonate me on facebook or any other internet pages, I would report it the manager of the internet page. I would also report this activity to the police. Until finally the cyber thief is caught and I am safe. That is what I would do if I were to have somebody impersonating me on the internet

Love letter

Dear Phone,
I Like my phone. I call, text, take pictures, on it and if i didnt have it my life would be a lot different.
If i didnt have my phone I wouldn't be able to wake up in the morning. I wouldn't be able to plan where or what i will be doing that day. For doing all these things I appreciate my phone.
